1. I have an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering which taught me to be rigorous in understanding the fundamentals of a skill in order to master it. 2. I have an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise from Columbia University which taught me how to lead, as well as to communicate effectively and collaborate with others in order to achieve exceptional results. 3. I have worked in a family business for 15 years which instilled in me the values of Integrity, Discipline, Initiative, Team Spirit and Performance that guide my life and how I approach teaching basketball. 4. I have led teams and organizations numbering from 5 to 200 people. 5. I tore my Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in September 2017 (a devastating injury common for basketball players). Using a combination of yogic exercises and diet I healed my ligament without surgery and was back to playing club level basketball by March 2018. I understand the importance of good conditioning but not overtraining to preserve players? health and assisting them to heal quickly as well. 6. I was a Volunteer Teacher and Mentor for the NGO Akanksha for 3 years for children between the ages of 11 and 13. I mention this because my students were at an age where they were smart and very hard to impress, it was a challenge to hold their attention and present subject material in a way that excites them about learning. I bring the same creativity into teaching team basketball.
